The Cycle Of Chaos: Putin’s Fate
Patterns are everywhere — in nature, in human history, and yes, even in the stock market.
Consider how nature operates in a cycle: tides ebb and flow, the moon waxes and wanes, seasons follow a rhythm, and even droughts and floods follow identifiable cycles.
These natural patterns have profound ripple effects, influencing agriculture, economies, and global markets.
These cycles are interconnected, influencing one another in often unseen ways.
Take the drought cycle for example.
To many investors, the financial and market consequences of an extreme drought and flood season aren’t evident at first glance. Global droughts and floods pose a significant risk of triggering inflation and driving up government expenditure.
In the face of these natural disasters, agricultural outputs can sharply decrease, causing the prices of staple foods to rise due to direct inflationary pressure.
Then we must consider infrastructure repair and reconstruction costs, as well as the need for comprehensive disaster response.
This can also contribute to inflation. As a result, businesses affected by these disasters might increase their prices to offset their losses, further stoking inflationary pressures.
To try and combat these effects, governments are often compelled to increase spending in response to these calamities.
This typically involves funding for immediate disaster relief, long-term recovery efforts, infrastructure rehabilitation, and potential compensation to affected individuals and businesses.
And in many cases, governments may also need to invest more in technologies and infrastructure to combat the growing threat of these climate-related disasters.
This augmented spending could lead to higher public debt, potentially necessitating increases in taxes or reductions in other areas of government spending.
All these factors have undeniable effects on stocks and the market as a whole.
This brings us to another kind of pattern — cosmic cycles.
Skeptics might pause here, but consider this: throughout history, significant astrological alignments have coincided with pivotal global events.
The universe operates on its own set of rhythms, and understanding these can offer insight into the forces shaping our world.
And based on the cycles I follow, we’re in for a shock on March 12, 2025.
Russia’s Cosmic Metronome
Patterns — both cosmic and historical — shape the world stage.
On November 19, 2024, Pluto ingressed into Aquarius, where it will remain for the next 20 years.
This can be interpreted as the beginning of an epic fight between the forces of totalitarian control, dictatorships, corruption, and criminal groups/cartels vs. the human struggle for freedom, liberty, and equality.
And on the very day of this shift, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a chilling announcement, lowering the threshold for Russia’s use of nuclear weapons.
Coincidence? Perhaps.
But when we connect the dots between historical cycles, cosmic patterns, and the present moment, a deeper narrative begins to emerge.
And it’s a grim preview of the escalating challenges we will face as the Saturn/Neptune conjunction approaches in the summer of 2025 (more on that in a moment).
It is also quite curious that the murderous dictator chose the 1,000th day of the Ukraine war to make this announcement given that the first 1,000 days of a child’s life are considered crucial because this period encompasses the most rapid brain development, laying the foundation for a child’s future cognitive, emotional, and physical health.
Does the fact that Ukraine has survived the Russian onslaught for the entirety of this “golden development period” in some ways speak to the country’s chance of survival going forward?
Astrologically and historically, cycles have uncanny resonance, particularly in Russian history.
When we look at planets, we pay attention to their synodic cycle, or the time it takes for these planets to reappear in the same position relative to us and other planets. Saturn-Neptune’s synodic cycle spans 35-36 years and has consistently aligned with pivotal moments for Russia.
The great plague of 1738, an outbreak of the bubonic plague, devastated the Russian peasantry and likely killed over 50,000 people.
The outbreak was terrible timing as Russia was in the midst of the Russo-Turkish War of 1735-1739, in which Czarist Russia sought access to the Black Sea. Weakened by the plague, Russian troops gave up significant military strongholds, fearing that their forces could not resist an attack.
The next event of historic importance was some 36 years later in the form of Pugachev’s Rebellion (1773-1775) also known as the Peasants War in which Pugachev stormed and laid siege to Orenburg in an attempt to depose Catherine the Great.
Some 36 years later in 1809 marks the year Finland became a Grand Duchy under the Russian Empire after the Finnish War where Sweden was defeated and ceded the eastern part of its territory to Russia which, although the “victor,” was exhausted by the war.
And the cycle continued: by 1845 Russia had entered a period of full-scale industrialization which would eventually lead to the conditions that enabled the Russian Revolution some 72 years, or two Saturn-Neptune Synodic cycles, later.
By 1882, the “May Laws” officially sanctioned discrimination against Jews leading to the widespread occurrence of anti-Jewish pogroms across the empire. These violent attacks caused a massive wave of emigration contributing significantly to the rise of Zionism and what historians mark as the major turning point in the history of Russian Jews.
36 years later, we have the Russian Revolution of 1917 which many historians consider the pivotal event in 20th-century history as it marked the end of the Tsarist Monarchy and the establishment of the world’s first communist state (The Soviet Union) which would go on to sew revolutions across the globe promoting communism as a viable political ideology.
Like a cosmic metronome, 36 years later marked the death of Stalin on March 5, 1953. During the quarter century preceding his demise, the cunning dictator probably exercised greater political power than any other figure in history. Amazingly, 36 years later saw the fall of the Berlin Wall and the figurative destruction of the Iron Curtain and the Soviet Union.
Now, in 2025, the next cycle completion is upon us.
Based on the natal chart of Vladimir Putin born October 7, 1952, in St. Petersburg at 9:30 am, his ascendant is at 3°10′ Scorpio. The ascendent, also known as the rising sign, represents one’s physical body, personality and how they appear to the world.
On March 12 this year, Pluto which traditionally rules the underworld, death, and dictators will be at 3°10′ of Aquarius, exactly 90° or “square” Putin’s ascendant. In astrological terms, this alignment signals intense pressure and potential downfall — perhaps through a coup, assassination attempt, or internal revolt.
Like any Mafia-style family, cartel, or dictatorship when the “big guy starts to slip” there are plenty of rivals waiting in the wings to take his place.
Clearly, the events of the past three years starting with the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the biggest attack on a European country and the first full-scale war since the Second World War, have underlined how Putin’s reign has become increasingly unstable and his grip on power is already faltering.
The invasion of Ukraine has exposed the cracks in his regime. Casualties in the war are over 500,000 with 300,000 on the Russian side of which 120,000 represent dead young Russian soldiers.
The impact this has had on the “Babushka Brigade” or those grandmothers, mothers and daughters of the men affected has been profound and underreported as state media has been severely restricted from reporting about anti-war protests that have sprung up around the country.
Also undermining Putin’s support was the mutiny of the Wagner Group in June of 2023, which staged an armed rebellion against the army with Wagner soldiers seizing the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don while a Wagner convoy headed towards Moscow. The mutiny was halted when an agreement was signed with the leaders that they would not be prosecuted if they withdrew to Belarus or signed contracts with the Defense Ministry.
But just two months later, the two commanders of the group were killed in a plane crash that was widely believed to have been caused by an explosion on board arranged by the Russian state under the direct orders of Putin himself.
Putin’s final humiliation came this past December with the forced withdrawal from Syria of its military equipment and troops following the collapse of the regime of Bashar al-Assad. This embarrassment followed some nine years and billions of dollars of arms and equipment in trying to prop up the Syrian Armed Forces.
With “three strikes and you’re out” and the cosmic threat of Pluto, the cosmological body of death and dictators, making a once-in-a-lifetime “square” or stressful aspect to Putin’s person or ascendant, we believe that the wily Mafia Boss will finally meet his demise in 2025.
What impact such an event will have on the conduct of the Ukraine War and relations with the West remains to be seen but rest assured it is likely to usher in a period of instability and uncertainty with possibly dire consequences.
