Big Secret On Wall Street

Avoiding The End Of America

He Took Porter Seriously And Moved Out Of The Country

Here at Porter & Co., we take the holidays seriously. We’ll be celebrating the “12 Days of Christmas” (plus a few extra!) from December 23 through January 6. During the holiday season, we won’t be sending our regularly scheduled research and insight.

Instead, we’ve asked members of the Porter & Co. team – editorial staff, analysts, marketers, and others – to select a favorite (generally investment-related) essay, article, speech, book excerpt, or other text, and to share their reflections on how it inspired them. Expect each one daily at our usual publication time: 4 pm ET. We hope they’ll help you get to know the family at Porter & Co. a little better – and perhaps offer some fresh perspective from voices you don’t usually hear.

Today,  Aaron Brabham, Porter & Co.’s head of marketing and co-host of the Black Label Podcast, shares how watching Porter’s The End of America documentary in 2011 focused his mind on the social and financial atrocities in the U.S., encouraging him to make a shocking new life plan. We are sharing a more recent version of The End of America in written form with readers today.

We wish you a warm and happy holiday season, from all of us here at Porter & Co… and we’ll be back with our usual program on January 6.

Porter and I (Aaron Brabham) have been friends since high school, and I joined Stansberry Research in 2010 to be co-host of a Stansberry Radio podcast. To get up to speed on the job, I had to do a deep dive into the financial-newsletter world, which at the time was foreign to me.

I was told to watch The End of America documentary, which Porter originally produced at Stansberry Research in 2011. The name alone caught me off guard. But when I got into it, I was really shocked. There was talk about civil unrest, martial law, the bank holidays, food shortages, and riots. Then I learned it wasn’t the end of America per se, but the U.S. dollar losing its world reserve currency status.

I thought there is no way this could happen in the United States. But over the next five years, after interviewing for the Stansberry Radio podcast the biggest names in finance and politics, including former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, theorist G. Edward Griffin, and investment author Jim Rogers, I realized that Porter was correct, and I needed to learn more about it. That got me reading about President Franklin Roosevelt confiscating gold in 1933, President Richard Nixon ending the gold standard in 1971, and the Federal Reserve only serving its private bank members. Many of the basic pillars of American finance increasingly seemed to me like nothing more than a Ponzi scheme wrapped in government lies.

I am the type of person who when I learn startling new information, I take action. And in July 2015, that is exactly what I did… shocking Porter. He thought I was a little crazy.

I write this from Medellín, Colombia, home to the Amazon River, the Andes Mountains, and me. It has authentic colonial cities, pristine Caribbean beaches, a low cost of living, a friendly culture, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed beef, and weather that ranges from 60 degrees to 82 degrees Fahrenheit 365 days a year.

At the most recent Porter & Co. conference in September, I was approached by curious attendees asking about my move to South America nearly 10 years ago. The idea of having somewhere to go outside the U.S., Europe, and Canada is appealing to our readers. It has been the best decision of my life. I credit Porter and the thesis of The End of America for my move.

If you are not familiar with The End of America, which is both a documentary and a published report, I invite you to read the published report here. Though updated from 2011, the figures in the report are a little out of date… but the ideas are truer than ever. Yes, a pro-business Donald Trump will be inaugurated as president in January. Yes, there is talk of cutting federal costs with the Department of Government Efficiency (“DOGE”), but is it too late?

We cover these topics in Porter’ Daily Journal and will continue to. At Porter & Co. we never sugarcoat and we don’t pick sides. We focus on finance and look to help our dear readers preserve and grow their wealth.

P.S. Will President-elect Donald Trump’s economic policies reverse Porter’s The End of America thesis?

Time will only tell… Of course, some companies and sectors will do better than others.  Porter is focusing on 10 investment opportunities to take advantage of before Donald Trump enters the White House on January 20…

Ten stocks with the potential to return 10x or more if you get in now before anyone else knows about them.

He’s not talking about Tesla… or some worthless crypto… or anything else you have heard other analysts saying.

These are Trump’s Secret Stocks… opportunities connected to Trump’s second term in ways that almost nobody outside his inner circle is aware of, and which have the potential to deliver colossal returns over the next four years.

These are obscure, little-known companies we believe could soar 5x, even 10x, under Trump’s second term…
